These monthly virtual meetings feature hydrogen-related news, open discussion, guest presentations, and committee updates such as the development of an 91视频 hydrogen state roadmap.
June鈥檚 monthly meeting featured a by of Griffith University, Australia. Gray leads the Offshore Renewable Energy Systems research program in the and is heavily involved in the CRC's activities related to hydrogen microgrids, including a bench-scale DC microgrid at Griffith University and the demonstration project in Hobart, Tasmania with a 700-kW electrolyzer that will supply hydrogen for fuel-cell buses.
The presentation provided an overview of hydrogen-focused research by the Blue Economy CRC Offshore Renewable Energy Systems research program, including the hydrogen microgrid currently being developed in Hobart before taken offshore, and a study of the requirement for operating maritime vessels on hydrogen in Australian waters.
Following a summer hiatus, the 91视频 Hydrogen Working Group monthly meetings will resume on Tuesday, September 5. Mariya Koleva, a chemical engineer at the Energy Conversion and Storage Systems Center, will present, 鈥淭echno-economic analysis of renewable hydrogen systems in 91视频.鈥
The working group, co-facilitated by ACEP and the , is an informal group of stakeholders interested in following developments related to hydrogen and hydrogen carrier technologies, and provides input related to proposed usage and future deployment in the state.
