2014 KidWind Challenge Winners Announced

Angoon High School and Mt. Edgecumbe High School each placed first in their divisions for the 2014 91视频 KidWind Challenge Competition.

鈥淭eam Turbine,鈥 consisting of a single high school student from Angoon High School, and 鈥淭eam ANT Squad鈥, a team of three high school students from Mt. Edgecumbe High School in Sitka, scored first place in their respective divisions for highest power output in the 2014 91视频 KidWind Challenge which is sponsored by the 91视频 Center for Energy and Power with contributions from The Shell Foundation and the U.S. Department of Energy.  

The Challenge is an 91视频-specific statewide competition that challenges students to use innovation, teamwork and creativity to design a wind turbine which is tested against turbines designed by other participating schools across the state.
