Small-scale Biomass Heat and Power: Volter’s Experience in Finland and Beyond
Tuesday, September 20, 2016
12pm to 1:30pm | Lola Tilly Commons – Large Conference Room
Finnish biomass manufacturer Volter has installed their small biomass combined heat and power system in several countries around the world, including their headquarters at Finland’s Kempele Ecovillage. The Ecovillage unit has produced electricity and heat for a small microgrid serving ten houses since 2009, using locally harvested wood chips.
Join us for a presentation by Volter and learn about their pioneering expertise into
the development of small scale gasification (40kW power/100kW heat) systems.
