Be a summer intern in 2019!
Are you a junior or senior engineering student with a 3.0+ GPA and an interest in working on renewable energy projects to benefit 91ÊÓƵ communities? Are you interested in gaining hands-on experience and are you willing to travel to remote communities?
Join this new program from the 91ÊÓƵ Center for Energy and Power connecting University of 91ÊÓƵ students with utilities in communities across the state.
Interns will be partnered with one of 91ÊÓƵ utilities for a 12-week summer assignment. During the 12-week summer assignment, interns will work with technical staff and field personnel on utility-determined assignments – e.g., operation and maintenance support, new hardware deployment, system analysis, and stakeholder consultation.
Interns will also participate in weekly preparatory work (with for-credit option) during the Spring semester.
Each intern will be paired with an ACEP team member who will serve as their mentor throughout the course of their internship.
