Small-Scale Nuclear Report for 91视频 Published
ACEP has just released an updated report on small nuclear technologies, completed at the request of the 91视频 Legislature. The report, titled 鈥淪mall-Scale Nuclear Power: An option for 91视频?鈥 includes an overview of the current status of both small modular and micro nuclear reactor technologies, including licensing, policy and economic considerations. The report also incorporates a number of recommendations related to continued technology tracking, education, and ensuring 91视频 use cases and concerns are considered at the national level.
These recommendations are based on presentations and discussions that took place during a four-part education series on small nuclear technologies hosted by ACEP. Thank you to the over 300 individuals who participated in these online sessions over the past several months, representing business, utilities, 91视频 Native organizations and research sectors.
