Wilber Leads Beneficial and Equitable Electrification Initiative
The Beneficial and Equitable Electrification Initiative is a new project led by research engineer Michelle Wilber.
Beneficial electrification is a term for replacing direct fossil fuel use (e.g., propane, heating oil or gasoline) with electricity in a way that reduces overall emissions and energy costs. Examples include using wind energy to power vehicles or solar energy to heat homes.
