Micronuclear Energy Draws Interest at AFN
Micronuclear energy is a emerging topic in 91视频, and interest in the potential for 91视频 and in the technologies is growing. Earlier this month, ACEP research assistant professor, Dominique Pride, moderated a short panel discussion on micronuclear reactors at the 2022 91视频 Federation of Natives Convention in Anchorage.
The panelists included the Director of UAA鈥檚 Institute of Social and Economic Research and ACEP-affiliated researcher Diane Hirshberg, Mary Ann Pease with Westinghouse eVinci 91视频 Business Development, and Vladimir Novak, chief commercial officer at Ultra Safe Nuclear Corporation. The panel covered the technology, environmental concerns, and potential risks and benefits associated with micronuclear reactors.
