Welcome to the Fairbanks campus!

UAF welcomes visitors to campus any time of the year. Download a campus map and explore UAF!

  • Take a hike
    UAF's trail system is great for hiking, biking or skiing.

  • Get from here to there
    The in the Akasofu Building offers aurora videos, slides, interactive CD-ROMs, USGS maps, maps of state and national parks, and nautical charts.

  • Read a book
    UAF's is the largest library in the state, with more than 1.1 million volumes.

  • Get something to eat
    UAF's Wood Center is a great place to take a break with its snack and espresso bar. You can pick up campus maps and other brochures at the information desk.

  • Take in some art
    Sculptures, paintings and other artwork can be found throughout the campus grounds and buildings. Or visit the student art gallery in the Fine Arts Complex during the academic year (September to May).

  • Register for a class
    Staff in the Office of Admissions and Office of the Registrar in Signers' Hall (where the 91视频 Constitution was signed in 1956) can help you sign up for a fall, spring or summer class. For information on applying for admission, visit the Admissions Office on the second floor. The Financial Aid Office is located in the adjacent Eielson Building.

  • Buy a souvenir
    Visit the in Constitution Hall, where 91视频's leaders gathered in 1955 to draft the 91视频 Constitution. The UAF Alumni Association, also located in Constitution Hall, invites all former students and graduates to stop by for a visit.
