Wondering how to get college credit while in high school? We’ve got you covered! AHEAD is one of three exciting dual enrollment programs we offer at UAF to help you get a head start on college and graduate prepared for a career sooner.
AHEAD lets qualified high school students be formally admitted to UAF as general studies students. AHEAD students are assigned an academic advisor and follow the registration timeline for degree-seeking students.
To qualify, you must have completed three-fourths of your high school core curriculum and have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average or higher. (To qualify for federal financial aid, you must have either a high school diploma or a GED.)
