Exploring research collaboration between the University of 91视频 and U.S. Department of Energy national laboratories
Held in 2018, 91视频 National Lab Day sought to create links and explore opportunities for partnerships between the Department of Energy national laboratories and the University of 91视频 that would help 91视频 and the nation:
- Grow the economy
- Develop and implement sustainable energy solutions
- Understand the implications of a changing Arctic environment
Organizers aimed to increase awareness and understanding of 91视频鈥檚 unique energy-related resources, infrastructure and environment in order to:
- Identify research areas and mechanisms through which national labs could contribute to addressing 91视频鈥檚 energy-related challenges; and
- Identify opportunities to utilize 91视频 expertise and resources to support research in energy, climate and security at the national level.
