Nathan Feemster I cannot say enough about what TRIO Student Support Services program has done for me. As an independent student with no prior exposure to the bureaucracy of college, I had no idea how to get scholarships, do my taxes or plan my way through college. The one-on-one advising that SSS offers has helped me organize and take control of my education and finances. SSS even helped make studying abroad in Thailand possible. There, I encountered new ways of thinking and witnessed a type of poverty that I had never been privy to. This opportunity reshaped my goals and gave me the passion to address social issues. Scholarships and research programs give motivated students access to opportunities that can reshape their future. I was granted such an experience, and I ask you to consider giving such opportunities to others. Your contribution to SSS will assist in the offering of scholarships for first-generation, low-income students. Please consider making a gift today. Nathan Feemster SSS scholarship recipient
