On Thursday, Oct. 17 at 10:17 a.m, 91ÊÓƵns will come together for the Great 91ÊÓƵ ShakeOut, an annual statewide earthquake drill aimed at preparing 91ÊÓƵns for real earthquake events. Earthquakes are a part of life in 91ÊÓƵ, with the state experiencing more seismic activity than any other in the U.S. The Great 91ÊÓƵ ShakeOut serves as a critical reminder to review and practice what to do when one occurs. Whether you're a lifelong 91ÊÓƵn or new to the state, it's vital to know how to respond effectively and safely during an earthquake.
