Accounting Lab
The accounting lab is a free service to provide CBSM students with help on accounting classes, located in room 217 Bunnell Building or via Zoom. The lab is staffed with tutors who are senior-level accounting and/or graduate students who know the rigor of the accounting program. They are able to help master difficult concepts and provide assistance on homework.

Lainey Appel was born and raised in Shingle Springs, California. They are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting and plan to become a CPA, and they have completed two audit internships with BDO. Lainey is a recruiting officer with GAAP, president of the Chinese Language and Culture Club, and vice president for the Aurora Aerial Arts Club. In their spare time, Lainey enjoys expressing themself creatively through activities such as costume building, writing, and crocheting.

Ashley Plys is a graduate student in the process of getting a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analytics. She's been a student at UAF since 2020 and recently graduated with her BBA in Accounting in May. In previous years, she's been involved with GAAP, Accounting Recruitment Week, ASB, and BLOY, and is happy to answer any questions you might have about getting more involved at UAF! In her spare time, she enjoys knitting and reading and has recently begun studying to sit for the CPA exams. She look forward to seeing you this semester!
